Oddly enough, in almost stark contrast to the post about last weekend’s MCM ‘Comic Con’ in Birmingham, there has been an announcement by LFACC that has really caught our attention this week. An event, similar in approach to the MCM events, that is really more well known for international movie and TV stars has been gradually growing its comic based lineup over the last couple of years and has gone for it this year. In a big way. We knew Alan Davis had been named, a well known, experienced artist who has a huge following in the comic community but to see the likes of Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso is really something quite special. Pia Guerra graced the UK at Thought Bubble last year and was accommodating and humble so it’s great to see her back again so soon alongside the likes of Milo Manara, Jock and Laurence Campbell. Anyway, enough yapping, here is the list so far:
